We’ve all heard about ‘BB creams” and all seem to ask the same questions. I myself took a while to figure this one out.
BB creams originally formulated in Germany intended to be used as a blemish balm or beauty balm.
Most popular in eastern and southeast Asia. Known to be the secret of Korean Actresses who all seem to have flawless skin.
BB creams are similar to tinted moisturizers. A little rich and smooth in application.
Smashbox Camera Ready BB cream promises the following:

The delivery was very close to what was promised, taking into consideration that everyone is born with a different makeup genetic. My skin can be classified as a combination of oily, and dry. I applied a pea sized amount in the Light/Medium shade. The application was smooth, and seem to set with a slight dewy finish.
