At $48.00 dollars for less than an ounce of product may sound a little steep for some pockets. However, this will be one of those little beauty addictions you can not live without.

As a professional makeup artist I have gone through a countless amount of products, and 85 percent of those products have been used on an experimental bases. I have definitely used so many different types of makeup primers that have made the same promises time and time again, and never seem to have delivered.

I was a bit hesitant in trying such an expensive primer but as a big of a Dermalogica products fan that I am, I simply couldn’t resist.

This amazing product is loaded with peptides, and age smart actives that will help firm and protect skin from previous sun damage, and any environmental toxins. The silicone base works as a shield locking in moisturizers, and creating a protective barrier that helps even and smooth skin for a flawless makeup application.

SkinPerfect Primer comes in neutral tints to help balance tones, and radiance enhancement. Ensuring an all over even, and flawless coverage. All Dermalogica products are formulated without artificial fragrance or color.

How I apply:

I begin with moisturized skin using a light weight moisturizer like Active Moist, also made my Dermalogica.

Followed by SkinPerfect Primer, and lastly I use one of my favorite foundations.

Both Kiehl’s tinted moisturizer and Armani luminous silk foundatation are my absolute favorites. Their differences are slight but noticeable. Kiehl’s tinted moisturizer seems to be a little thicker, which is most likely because it’s also a moisturizer. The retail value for Kiehl’s tinted moisturizer $24.50

Armani Luminous Silk foundation  $59.00 is a little more expensive, and lighter in application. The coverage is silky and provides your skin with the full coverage need to balance out skin tones, and create flawless looking skin.
