I trained myself to sleep like a Disney princess in my 40s.
All Because I Refuse to Wake Up With Chest Wrinkles. Sleep itself started becoming harder while trying this new experiment.

So hard that I found myself thinking am I sacrificing good sleep over wrinkles? For the first two weeks, I was miserable and yes, I thought it was wise to sacrafice my sleep to save my chest from wrinkles. I tried different back type of positions to sleep in. I even went on Amazon and bought a pillow for my lower back it’s called the vamorry Lumbar Pillow for Sleeping.

In the beginging nothing helped. But now over a month later I finally got used to it, and also discovered a way to patch myself up with silcone so that I can sleep on my side for nights when I need that deep sleep. I patch the cleavage area and the shoulder area so that it protects the folds when I side-sleep, and you can roll over comfortably, I call it silicone armor.

I’ve experimented with all types of silicone patches specifically designed to help combat chest wrinkles while you sleep. The first one I tried and newly learned about was the Chest Rejuderme® Skinlet at 39 dollars per patch. Yes this is pricey but they are suppposed to last a month. You can wash the skinlet. And if you think about it, we spend way more money on face products so why not on our chest, especially when we are over the age of 40. We owe it to ourselves for all the neglect and sun dammage we put our precious chest through. I will be honest, I only tried the Rejuderme skinlet once and tried others next, mostly ones you can find on amazon as I rely heavily on next day delivery. Basically finding products I can easily get my hands on for best consitency. The ones I found on Amazon weren’t necesarrily the best, up until recently they started selling the one I liked best and have purchased three of. It’s by SIO beauty. I started using only one skinlet for my cleavage area but depressingly I was also getting creases near my right shoulder from sleeping on that side. So now I use two silicone patches. One in the middle on the cleaveage area and another one applied like a shoulder pad. I can’t believe the things we have to do for beauty but I am trying anything and everything within my beauty budget to combat these pesky wrinkles and skin texture.
I will share that I do take breaks from the silicone on nights I feel I can get good rest on my back. Sometimes after using it too many nights in a row, you can experience a little chest break out. Which I use PanOxyl Acne foaming Wash for Face and Body. On nights I decide to sleep on my back, I create my little pillow fortess I made for myself for maxium comfort. These are typically on days when I have moved my body with a good workout and have had time to really unwind before bed with a nice hot shower or bath, hair grooming and skincare. I then set up my bed with one pillow under my knees, my
Lumbar Support Pillow placed on the top of my butt and on my lower back area. A soft and flatter pillow under my head and a fluffier one to hug. So four pillows total.
At 43 I’m Finally Treating My Chest Like I Treat My Face.
I have spent years putting serums, creams, devices and treatments on my face while mostly ignoring my chest. Then I hit my 40s and suddenly started noticing every line and sleep crease down there.
Why is it that we wait until our hands, neck and chest start aging before we give them the same attention we’ve given our faces for years?
We obsess over aging faces while neglecting the rest of our skin.” Hands, chest, neck, elbows, knees, arms—most of us spent years giving our face the expensive serum while our hands got whatever lotion happened to be near the sink.

I have yet to find a good and affordable chest cream that give you those miracle results. I’ve also learned not to trust everything I see on tiktok.. No shade against tiktok because I’m a tiktok girly but we just can’t buy everything we see. As I have experienced very bad skin reactions from using some of their latest “miracle cream”.
Although, I did try Dr. Melaxin ECM Ceramide neck serum using my medicube booster pro over it, and lock in with Nivea Q10. When I woke up I noticed a slightly more rejuvenated chest.
Next on my list to complete this experiment is an LED chest and neck mask. The one I have been eyeing is the neck and chest LED mask by JOVS. It’s well priced and the reviews are very convincing. As we age it’s no known secret that we lose collagen, particularly after menopause. You can see a 30% incline..
This is when we should do the most, taking some form of collagen, peptides, microneedling and some red light therapy to help stimulate collagen.
I hope you enjoyed this peek into my chest-care experiment! I’m sharing my experience as I go, and I’d love to hear about yours. If you have any questions, comments, or tips to share, email me at audrey@labeautyguide.com.
With love,
