Finding Skin Care Routines Appropriate For Your Skin Type.

As if the thought of turning 30 isn’t stressful enough. Try adding the thought of a new and very much needed Skin Care Routine.

Turning 30 for most women is a huge deal, as it should be. So many life experiences occurred in our 20’s. Everything from lessons learned, friends lost, life celebrations, and a bundle of accomplishments.

The transition consist of reflections, New game plans, new goals, and should include New Skin Care routines.

In the process of reflecting one of the first things we do is look into a mirror.

What do you see? It’s your skin, and it’s probably not the same from when you were first 20.  Oh how we neglected our skin in our 20’s. Poor skin routines, late nights out, countless evenings of falling asleep in our makeup, dehydration, environmental damages (sun damage), and the list goes on.

Well as 2012 is knocking on our door step, it’s a perfect time to start a new relationship with our skin, and be committed to a new skin care routine.

In our 20’s we experimented with makeup, and in our 30’s we should definitely be experimenting with skin care products.

There are so many skin care products, brands, types, and promises. Were do we begin.

It’s simple… First begin with a professional or an at home Skin Analysis.

Discover what type of skin you have and these are usually the skin types.

Dry Skin: Small pores, dullness, skin feels tight after cleansing.

Oily Skin: Large Pores, acne prone, frequently looks shiny.

Combination Skin: Forehead, nose, and chin are oily while cheeks are drier.

Normal Skin: Similar to those of combination skin but with less oil in the T-Zone area.

Oily skin doesn’t mean that you can’t be dehydrated. Many women confuse oily skin with being overly hydrated. If you have oily skin, and your skin absorbs your foundation in seconds then you are very much dehydrated.

8 glasses of H20 on a daily basis will help rid this skin condition.
