A makeup artist will cost $120 to $200, and sometimes more depending of the experience. Averagely it will be no more than $200 for the initial makeup or 2 to 3 hours of the artist time.
It may sound like a lot but comparing it to the price of the basic makeup kit it averages out to the same amount. The difference is that professional artist will have a much larger kit, usually years of experience and are experienced with all shapes, tones, skin types and will be able to customize a make up just for you.
