Beauty in your 40s can be characterized by confidence, self-assurance, and a deep sense of inner beauty that comes from life experience and wisdom. It’s about embracing your natural features, taking care of yourself physically and emotionally, and radiating a genuine glow from within. With that said let us be happy with the way we look too. There is some controversy that self care is considered a luxury. Self care is very important and an investment in yourself. When we live in a world of beauty, perfection, influencers and social media it’s hard to avoid feeling self conscience at one point or another. I will admit that I have my days where I stare at every pore in the mirror and pinch my love handles.

Self-care can be anything from exercise, healthy eating, and adequate sleep to activities like meditation, journaling, spending time with loved ones, or pursuing hobbies. The key is to prioritize activities that recharge and rejuvenate you, helping you manage stress and maintain balance in your life. Adapting to these new healthy habits will definitely show on your skin, hair, nails and energy.

I want to share with you products and procedures that work in helping you look and feel your best in your 40s.

As a beauty advisor my skin is what I prioritize the most. It’s the first thing people see when they talk to you. There is nothing like having that perfect, sun kissed glow with little to no makeup. I want to wear products that work the best, feel weightless on my skin and help me look radiant.

I have spend a lot of my own money on purchasing trending beauty products and I always feel so guilty when I buy an over priced product that I don’t end up liking. Unwanted skincare and makeup starts to accumulate and causes clutter. It’s important to keep in mind that these products do expire and don’t want to use them on your face once they are expired.

Then there are times we need something a little more invasive like botox, chemical peels, hydra facials, laser hair removal and the list goes on.
